Taco Grilled Chicken

A follower/friend e-mailed me and gave me a recipe to try out!  I love that she did that, I was hoping for more of this when I started my blog.  Also, I don't know if any of you remember, I also wouldn't mind some guest bloggers!  If you have a wonderful recipe, take pictures while you make it, type up the recipe and email it to me!  I would love to have more ppl involved in my blog.  So thank you, Rachel for being the first to send me a recipe you enjoyed and have me try it out.

On another note, I have decided to stop rating my recipes.  I feel like you probably all get the idea of how I feel about the recipe in my explanation.

I'm going to change Rachel's recipe name of Grilled Chicken Taco, to Taco Grilled Chicken (it has nothing to do w/ eating it like a taco, it just uses taco seasoning!  My husband was confused when we weren't eating chicken tacos.)  I'm not a huge fan of plain barbecued chicken tenders, but this recipe adds a kick to it that makes it a bit more exciting to eat.  I would definitely choose to make this recipe again, especially if I had to choose between bbq chicken tenders or this!

Brush with olive oil and sprinkle w/ taco seasoning and oregano.  And place on the grill.

While grilling mix together bbq sauce and cumin.

Brush bbq sauce mixture over chicken and grill for another 1-2 minutes.

There ya go!  Very simple and good.  Yum!

Taco Grilled Chicken

1.5 lbs chicken breast (I used chicken tenders)
1 T Olive Oil
2 T taco seasoning
1 t dried oregano
½ t cumin
½ cup bar-b-q sauce

Brush chicken with olive oil.
Combine taco seasoning & oregano and then sprinkle on chicken.
Grill 10-15 mins until done.
Combine bar-b-q sauce and cumin and spread over chicken and grill 1-2 mins longer.

I served with grilled veggies and a baked potato! Enjoy!
