I made these last night for dinner, so good! I got the recipe from Gotta Eat, I really like her recipes because they're all really easy and only a few ingredients, I only wish she would put up pictures and explanations. I've made them once before but somehow missed the last step of rolling them in oil and breadcrumbs! I don't know how I forgot to do that, they were still really good, but so so good w/ the breadcrumbs. I asked my husband what he would rate these, he gave it a 4, he said only because this type of food isn't his favorite. I think they're so good, and so so easy!
Place the chicken mixture into the center of each roll and roll up. I went from corner to corner until it was completely wrapped.
It should look something like this.
I just placed some olive oil and breadcrumbs straight onto the cookie sheet and rolled each roll in each.
So it looked like this, place seam side down on pan.
Straight out of the oven.
Serve with a side of Irish Boiled Potatoes and top off with chicken gravy.
Chicken Rolls
Ingredients:
2 chicken breasts shredded
4-5 ounces cream cheese
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 can crescent rolls
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
4-5 ounces cream cheese
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 can crescent rolls
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
Oil or butter (I use Olive Oil)
Boil and shred chicken breasts. Soften cream cheese and add to chicken along with the pepper. Scoop a spoonful of chicken mixture into center of each crescent roll and roll up. Take crescent roll and roll in oil or butter and then in breadcrumbs. Cook 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with mashed potatoes and gravy. (I did this the first time, last night I decided to make a different type of potato, either way was great. But, definitely use the chicken gravy!) Enjoy!

These look very yummy. I made something similar to this with the same ingredients except we made it into a ring (instead of individuals) and we did not put it into breadcrumbs. Can't wait to try!
Sounds good! Maybe I need to try out your recipe.
I made these for the Jones' on Saturday. I love this simple yummy recipe!
