Finally, the long awaited recipe for Baked French Toast. I don't know if ya'll have noticed, but I loved baked french toast recipes. And, honestly, this is one of the best I've tried! I mean, it's not enough that the french toast itself is so amazing, add the buttermilk syrup and MAN! IT'S AMAZING! If you ever want to make a breakfast to impress, but you don't want to get up super early and mess up several pots and pans, then this is the way to go for sure! Another great thing about this is you can use whatever berry you feel in the mood for! I've used raspberries and blueberries, both were great! My friend Ryan...who am I kidding...everyone who matters calls him Morty ;), made this for my sister and I when we visited him and his family a while back. I've made it twice since, which is not near enough haha. Anyways, give it a try, let me know what you think, I know it won't disappoint. Please don't be intimidated by the long recipe, it's actually very simple and is very quick to make!

Easy Potato Doughnuts
I could eat donuts everyday if it were up to my head, and not my body! I love them! This is a crazy easy recipe for homemade donuts. Don't be intimidated, anyone can do it, I promise! The crazy thing about these donuts are that they have mashed potatoes in them!! That's right, potatoes. I don't know about y'all, but I was so surprised to hear that when I was first introduced to them. BTW, I was given this recipe a few years ago by someone I worked w/, I just can't remember her name, sorry!
They're good as leftovers, but uh-mazing fresh.
Have you ever had potato donuts?! What did y'all think of them? Let me know if you tried these!

Easy Homemade Buttermilk Biscuits
Why I have been intimidated or too scared to try making homemade biscuits, I'll never know. These were amazingly easy and so yummy! Seriously, when it says "Easy Homemade" it's truly that, easy!! I don't think I will ever need to buy the prepackaged biscuits ever again!
Look at how golden and flaky they got!

Personal Sized Baked Oatmeal with Individual Toppings
I have been wanting to make these for a while now, ever since I found the recipe on Pinterest. I gotta tell ya, I love Pinterest for quick recipe idea. And, I'll make ya a deal, I'll try out the recipes I find and then post them on here! How's that? ;) Anyways, I thought this would be a great breakfast to pull out every morning, since it makes so many individual oatmeals. AND, there's tons of great, healthy ingredients in these, there's no way you can feel guilty eating them. My boys ONLY wanted to try the chocolate chips, but my one year old loved each one I gave him. My personal favorite were the peaches...yum!

Cinnamon Roll Waffles
You've probably seen this recipe floating around in blog land or Pinterest right? Well I thought I'd go ahead and give it a try. It looked good and really easy, so I figured why not. I finally purchased a waffle maker for Christmas, (yeah, that's right, I've been married for 7 1/2 yrs and have yet to own a waffle maker) so I could finally try it out. I put it off til Valentine's day and then tried it out on my family. It was super fast and so yummy! I mean you no longer have to wait forever for them to bake in the oven. You can now have fresh, gooey cinnamon rolls in minutes. They were a hit! So my question is, will I ever cook them in the oven again? I really don't know. The only thing I miss is getting to pull them apart and eating the middle last, I'm not alone in this right? But, they honestly taste just the same, cook much quicker and you can still eat them by hand. Oh, and to answer your question, yes, I have made these again since Valentine's day. They're delish!

Day 17 - Stove-Top Swedish Pancakes
Welcome to Day 17 of 25 Days of Recipes! I'd like to introduce to you to a great friend of mine, actually one of the first I made when I moved into my neighborhood...Nikki! She is one of the nicest people I've ever met. I don't think I've ever heard her say a negative thing about anyone in the 2 years we've known eachother. She's always looking for something nice/helpful to do for others. I can't tell you how many times she's offered to take my boys off my hands just so I could have free time to myself or to have a peaceful grocery shopping experience. Not only that, she's taken both of them for hours during the day, a few times, while I have been sick in the past. You know what else amazes me? Mon-Sat w/o fail, she leaves around 5 AM (maybe earlier, can't remember the exact time) to travel all the way to Ogden for her favorite workout class. She's amazing.

Day 16 - Make Ahead Baked French Toast
Welcome to Day 16 of 25 Days of Recipes. I'd like to introduce my good friend Amy. She lives a few blocks away from me and she has one of the cutest houses around, she does an amazing job at decorating. She claims she doesn't like to cook, but honestly, everything I've ever eaten of hers tastes, and looks great. She is especially amazing at making all the small, cutesy orderve/dessert type, finger foods.

Day 14 - Pumpkin Pancakes
Welcome to day 14 of 25 Days of Recipes! I'd like to introduce my good friend Joe. Actually...here's the story, try to keep up ;) Joe and my hubby grew up together in Washington State and were best friends. His wife, Lindsey, and I grew up together in TN and we were best friends. So...after my hubby and I started dating, we introduced Joe and Lindsey and it was love at first sight. They ended up getting married exactly a week before us. We've all been living with in 30 minutes of eachother here in Utah, until a few months ago when they left us to move to AZ :( But, they are some of the best friends anyone could ever ask for, so of course we'll still see eachother. So, when Joe contacted me and told me he had a recipe I could include on the blog, I totally thought he was joking. But, he actually emailed me this wonderful recipe, so here we are, we have a guy sharing today!

Day 11 - Sausage Ring
Welcome to Day 11 of 25 Days of Recipes! I'd like to introduce to you a friend of mine from High School, Jennifer. She was always so happy and treated everyone so kind. We haven't seen eachother since graduation, going on 10 years. But, thanks to facebook we get to still keep in touch. Jennifer was nice enough to offer to share her famous family recipe, when she found me begging for volunteers on fb ;) Thanks to Jennifer, we have Day 11 ready to go.

Day 8 - Egg Strata
Welcome to Day 8 of 25 Days of Recipes! Let me please take a moment to introduce myself :) I know you hear from me all the time, but I thought I'd share some personal information about myself. I'm Brittany, I'm 27 and I've been married for just over 6 years, I have 2 boys...ages 2 and 3. Have I mentioned, they're a year a day apart? Yep, we're a busy house around here! We live in Utah, but I'm from Tennessee...where all the rest of my family still live. Oh! I have 9 siblings!! There's my older sister and 15 months later my twin brother and I were born! 10 years and 4 kids later another set of twins joined our family! Crazy right?! So how old is the youngest you may ask? Well...next month she'll be 14!! Sounds young to you, but in my mind she should still be 6. Anyways, that's enough about me for now...maybe I'll share more w/ my next recipe.
This was a picture from last year, but I love it!

Day 3 - Turbocharged Biscuits and Gravy
Welcome to Day 3 of 25 Days of Recipes! Today I am excited to welcome Lindsay to my blog. We grew up in the same town in Tennessee, but I haven't seen her in years. We've kind of reconnected through having our cooking blogs. I love having those kind of connections w/ others! I've actually shared a couple of her recipes so far, do you remember Peanut Butter Banana Muffins or her Crusty Onion Pork Chops, yeah, both were her own creations. She's an amazing cook, one of those that comes up w/ her own original recipes, I only wish I could do that!

Orange Rolls
I made these for breakfast for the Sunday session of General Conference (I have one more recipe to come from that weekend). Have you ever had Orange Rolls? And I'm not talking about the Pillsbury Refrigerated kind, that doesn't even compare. These are amazing! Personally, I like these better than homemade Cinnamon Rolls. Remember my friend Janel that I've talked about a few times, you know, her family's recipe book? A Taste of Heaven, Recipes from Hale. I love that book! Well, I've made their Orange rolls a few times, mostly for General Conference weekends, seriously, they're so good! I hate dealing w/ dough, but it's well worth it!
Yum!

Buttermilk Banana Bread
A few weeks ago I had a girls craft night out and decided I needed to provide something yummy to munch on. I had some bananas going bad, so I decided to make this very moist, Buttermilk Banana Bread recipe. It tasted great, but was a little more moist than I thought it was going to be, which doesn't sound bad, right? I just had a hard time figuring out if it was done baking or not. I ended up baking it an extra 10 minutes or so, and still didn't get my toothpick to come out clean, but I think that's mostly b/c I increased the bananas and decreased the sugar, you know, to make it a bit more healthy, haha. But it ended up tasting great! I think next time I'll try the normal amount of bananas and sugar.
Looks good right.

Buttermilk-Blueberry Breakfast Cake
I know I've mentioned before, but I'll say it again, I hardly ever make breakfast, unless it's a special occasion. It's usually always cereal around here. But one Saturday, for some reason, I woke up feeling like making something special. I've had my eye on this recipe for a while now, or should I say pinned to Pinterest, and finally made it. It didn't fail to impress. It was yummy! And very easy to make ;)
It was filled w/ blueberry goodness and so moist and yummy.

Overnight Caramel French Toast
I decided to make this Overnight Caramel French Toast for my 6th year wedding anniversary. I love making overnight french toasts, they're always so good, and so easy the morning of. It turned out great! I loved the gooey caramel and having to pick it out of my teeth. Soo good!
This was so good! I loved the caramel!

Overnight Peach French Toast
I thought I'd share a Father's Day breakfast recipe, considering tomorrow is Father's Day ;) I like to make my hubby breakfast in bed, I'm considering making this recipe again, we'll see. (I don't have any during pictures, these pictures are from last year when I made it. **Update, I made it again this year so I added more pictures!) I got this recipe from Good Things Utah. Kneaders shared this wonderful recipe to make for Mother's Day, but I saved it to make for my hubby b/c I thought it looked so good. I have made just the syrup a couple of times to have separately on other breakfast dishes, it's great! Just like their caramel syrup they serve in the restaurant! Anyways, this is a winner. I rate this recipe a 5!

Biscuits and Gravy
My roomie from college, and good friend from TN, Holly is a true Southern Belle. My roommates and I use to take turns cooking, she was always true to her TN roots and would cook comfort food. One of her yummy specialties was Biscuits and Gravy! I asked her for the recipe once and she told me she didn't have exact measurements. Here's exactly what she said, "I just take spoonfuls of flour at a time, mix in and then gradually mix in milk or water until I get the consistency I want it to be." So, that's how I've been doing it ever since. Until last night! I decided I would come up with an exact recipe so I could share it w/ y'all!! I love this dish, and of course, I always make it for "Brinner" not actual Breakfast.

Stuffed French Toast
Ok, so I gotta say, I looove these so much! I got this recipe from Good Things Utah, the guest for that day was Johnson Mills. They shared one of their bed and breakfast recipes, Stuffed French Toast, and their amazing! You have to try it out! I have actually never made these for breakfast, I have made them a few times for Brinner though! Left over batter keeps well to use again the next day! Go ahead and prepare the bread with cream cheese (place back in plastic bag it came in) so the next day all you have to do is dip and fry and you're good to go for dinner again. I rate these a 5!!

Peanut Butter Banana Muffins
One of my favorite type of sandwiches is a peanut butter banana sandwich! And for the last little while I have really liked it with Nutella as well. So good! So when I saw this Presley Peanut Butter Banana Muffin I knew I had to try it. A friend that I knew from back home in TN shared this recipe, click on her link and see what inspired her to come up with the recipe, it's a cute story. So I wanted to make these as soon as I saw her recipe! They sounded so good, and I actually had all the ingredients! I ended up making them Monday and I still have a couple left over today! They are definitely better warm, so microwave them if they get cold, it brings out the banana taste better. And as suggested serve with Nutella, or I was thinking it'd probably be really good w/ mini chocolate chips added! I rate these a 3.8.
Fill muffin tins with 1/4 c. of batter in each, I was able to make 17 this way. Make sure to spray the pan a lot, so they don't stick. Top with sugar and cinnamon mix! Yum!
